LOG.I.CO. Seminar: MGTES is a case of thermal energy storage system for decarbonisation and energy security

Through the REPower EU plan, dedicated to energy issues, the European Commission highlighted the urgent need for greater investments in renewable sources and energy efficiency to reduce the current European geopolitical dependence. To achieve these goals, all the main industrial sectors are now asked to exceed a decarbonisation threshold up to 60 per cent. In this scenario, what role can industrial energy communities play and what are the most suitable tools and strategies to encourage the self-production of renewable energy?

All topics that will be explored tomorrow - Wednesday 8 June starting at 10.15 - during the seminar "Industrial Energy Communities - Tools for SMEs and industrial companies consortia for energy autonomy" promoted by the LOG-I-CO Association – Logistics, Industry, Commerce.

The seminar will be attended by Letizia Magaldi, Executive Vice President of Magaldi Green Energy, with a speech entitled “Thermal energy storage systems for decarbonisation and energy security: the MGTES case”.
